MEGADETH Drummer Auctioning Concert-Worn Soccer Jerseys

MEGADETH drummer Shawn Drover is currently auctioning two concert-worn soccer jerseys via eBay. Shawn sported one of the shirts at the band's Sao Paulo show in Brazil, while the other was worn at the band's Buenos Aires, Argentina concert in October 2005 that was filmed for the band's upcoming live DVD. MEGADETH recently completed the initial recordings for their new album at England's Sarm studios (located just outside of London),for a late 2006 release via an as-yet-undisclosed label. The sessions were filmed by director Michael Sarna, who had previously worked with MEGADETH on their "Of Mice and Men" video. The video footage is available at MEGADETH's official fan club, MegaFanClub, but you must be a member in order to view it.

MEGADETH's last CD, "The System Has Failed", came out in September 2004. The group, who were most recently signed to Sanctuary Records, were joined by bassist James Lomenzo (ex-BLACK LABEL SOCIETY, WHITE LION) in February following the departure of James MacDonough (ex-ICED EARTH).
